The Belgian Vietnamese Alliance (BVA) organised an award ceremony to conclude its Vietnamese course last Saturday 18, June 2016. Ms Truong Thi Quyen, managing director at BVA was present to hand certificates to students who had successfully completed the course. “Vietnamese is a difficult language but I hope you will keep your passion and continue learning to master it,” Ms Quyen said at the ceremony.
The students, who have finished the beginners or intermediate level, expressed their satisfaction over the course. “My teacher was excellent. I could see my Vietnamese was improving, which will help my transition to living and working in Vietnam smoother,” said Mr Angelo Caccavale, a student in the intermediate class who will settle in Vietnam this autumn.
BVA organises Vietnamese classes for adults and children every year to promote Vietnamese language, traditions and culture in Belgium. Besides weekly courses, there are also extracurricular activities such as cooking class, film screening, Vietnamese speaking club, etc…
For the 2016-2017 school year, the BVA Vietnamese classes will commence on Saturday, 1 October, 2016. More information can be found here http://belvietnam.be/events/learning-vietnamese-in-belgium/
